About the position

The PEGA Data Architect position at The Judge Group Inc. is a critical role that involves working with complex workflow technologies and ecosystems, particularly focusing on data modeling tools. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing data models and schemas that can accommodate multiple business use cases across various core technical stacks. This role requires a deep understanding of core Business Process Management (BPM) and Decisioning concepts, as well as experience in building data catalogs and dictionaries with business glossaries. The architect will work closely with customers and team members to understand current operating procedures, program objectives, and business requirements, which will drive the design and development of high-quality technical solutions. The position involves full systems life cycle engagement, including planning, coding, testing, and documentation, ensuring that the solutions meet the needs of the business effectively. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PEGA, particularly in ADM modeling and Champion Challenger methodologies. They will also need to demonstrate familiarity with cloud and distributed computing concepts and technologies. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as the role requires collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure a seamless migration of rules from a different platform into PEGA. The candidate will supplement an existing PEGA Rules team and will be involved in the migration process, ensuring that existing consumers of the legacy rules product experience a smooth transition to PEGA Rules. This position is hybrid, with locations open in Basking Ridge, NJ, Irving, TX, and Alpharetta, GA, and requires 6-10+ years of relevant experience in IT, particularly in hands-on delivery of large enterprise solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Experience with complex workflow technologies and ecosystem, data modeling tools

  • Familiarity with core BPM and Decisioning concepts (e.g. Case and Decisioning) and experience building data catalogs/dictionaries with business glossaries
  • Strong expertise on ADM modeling using PEGA and Champion Challenger
  • Familiarity with cloud / distributed computing and storage concepts and technologies
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Design data models and schemas that can fit multiple business use cases leveraged by multiple core technical stacks
  • Define and implement data accuracy across product portfolio
  • Work closely with customers and team members to understand current operating procedures, program objectives, and business requirements that drive the design and development of high quality technical solutions
  • Involved with full systems life cycle to include planning, coding, testing, and documentation
  • Consult with users to identify current operating procedures and clarify program objectives and make recommendations about new code or reuse of existing code

Requirements

  • 6+ years of total experience in IT - hands on delivery of large enterprise complex solutions
  • 4+ years of experience in building and implementing model-driven, enterprise-level business solutions using PegaSystems PRPC tool
  • Hands on Experience in Designing and Implementing Enterprise Class Rules, PRPC Flows, Activities, Reports and Correspondence, PRPC Case Management and various PRPC Integrations
  • Exposure to a variety of technologies, including, but not limited to J2EE (JSP, Servlets, EJB, XML, Java), Oracle
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and applicability of Object-Oriented techniques and principles
  • Experienced in integration with Database, Web Services, MQ and Middleware technologies
  • Experience in Agile Scrum methodology
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or other related field
  • CSSA certification is required
