About the position

The Pega Developer role focuses on analyzing, designing, and implementing business-specific Pega solutions and frameworks. The position requires expertise in Pega 8.8.X and Pega Healthcare Management, with a strong emphasis on creating reusable components to enhance customer experience. The developer will translate complex business requirements into functional technical requirements and will be involved in various testing phases, code reviews, and deployment processes.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, design and support implementation of business specific Pega solutions and/or frameworks.
  • Implement technical solutions on Pega 8.8.X and Pega Healthcare Management.
  • Create reusable components for enterprise-wide use to enhance customer experience.
  • Translate complex business requirements into functional technical requirements using Pega Systems BPM methodology.
  • Implement PEGA integration services and understand PEGA new case management features.
  • Perform regular code and design reviews.
  • Assist with planning and execution of unit, integration, and user acceptance testing.
  • Provide regular updates to product owners and management on project progress and outstanding issues.
  • Resolve escalations and report back to operations leadership as needed.
  • Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code and configurations.
  • Support packaging and deployment of releases.
  • Analyze and resolve technical and application problems and monitor the performance of internal systems.
  • Attend scrum ceremony meetings and design sessions to maximize application efficiency.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Pega, Java, Spring Boot, and SQL.
  • Experience with Pega 8.8.X and Pega Healthcare Management.
  • Ability to create reusable components and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Hands-on experience with PEGA integration services and case management features.
