About the position

The Pega Developer role involves designing, developing, and integrating Pega applications, specifically focusing on Pega 8.x. The position requires hands-on experience with various Pega functionalities and frameworks, particularly in the financial services domain. The developer will be responsible for creating design options, understanding deployment strategies, and leading a team while ensuring project timelines are met.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Pega applications using Pega 8.x.
• Integrate Pega applications with existing systems and frameworks.
• Utilize Dev Studio for workflows, UI, business rules, routing, security, and integrations.
• Implement Smart Investigate framework or financial services framework as needed.
• Leverage Pega AI/ML, GenAI, and NLP capabilities for automation and straight-through processing.
• Create multiple design options with pros and cons for implementation roadmaps.
• Understand Pega application deployment options and dev-ops practices.
• Integrate with message queues and REST/SOAP calls.
• Provide domain understanding on payments and payment investigations.
• Lead the team, review code and design, and manage project timelines and estimates.

Requirements

• Experience with Pega 8.x design, development, and integration.
• Hands-on experience with Dev Studio for workflows, UI, business rules, routing, security, and integrations.
• Experience with Smart Investigate framework or financial services framework.
• Good understanding of Pega AI/ML, GenAI, and NLP capabilities.
• Ability to create multiple design options with pros and cons for implementation.
• Understanding of Pega application deployment options and dev-ops.
• Domain understanding of payments and financial services.

Nice-to-haves

• Good understanding of cloud and performance troubleshooting.
• Experience in deployment architecture.
• Functional depth in ISO 20022 MX and MT messages.
