About the position

Infosys is seeking a Practice Client Partner for its Engineering services practice. The Practice Client Partner is responsible for all client interfaces within the assigned account scope. This role involves working closely with their manager, typically a Senior Client Partner or Group Client Partner, to build a comprehensive account plan and manage client relationships based on that plan. The Practice Client Partner usually handles a single account or a portion of a larger account, with a Profit and Loss (P&L) responsibility ranging from $30 million to $40 million. In the context of Infosys Engineering Services, the Practice Client Partner plays a crucial role in ensuring that enterprises have resilient networks, a digitally connected workforce, and smart connected products. This is essential for reorienting production to be more localized and enabling faster launches of new offerings. The role requires significant engineering interventions in areas such as product design, software-defined networking, robotics, IoT, Unified Communication/Contact Center, and containerization. Infosys Engineering Services is strategically positioned to respond to real-time customer needs and build competitive technology offerings while focusing on continuous cost improvements. The Practice Client Partner will be involved in client relationship management and business development, managing client relationships, and building a portfolio valued at $30 million to $40 million. They will own the opportunity management cycle, which includes prospecting, evaluating, proposing, and closing deals. Additionally, the role involves client delivery assurance, collaborating with all delivery stakeholders to ensure that all commitments to the client are fulfilled. The Practice Client Partner will also be responsible for account planning and governance, which includes creating the account plan, identifying necessary relationships, pursuing opportunities, and making pricing decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage client relationships and build a portfolio valued at $30MM to $40MM.
  • Own the opportunity management cycle: Prospect-Evaluate-Propose-Close.
  • Collaborate with delivery stakeholders to ensure fulfillment of all commitments to the client.
  • Create the account plan including required relationships, opportunities to be pursued, and price decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education and 11 years of experience.
  • Strong sales, relationship management, and account management experience.
  • Track record of interacting and building relationships with C-level client contacts.
  • Experience in driving large deals with a proven track record of closing deals.
  • Experience in Life Sciences/Healthcare verticals.
