About the position

Innova Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Penetration Tester to join our team. This position is a full-time, contingent role that will last between 18 to 24 months. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in penetration testing, both manual and automated, and will be able to execute and understand various security tools effectively. The role requires a senior-level resource who is familiar with the OWASP framework, which is essential for the security practices we implement. Candidates with ethical hacking certifications will be preferred, although it is not a strict requirement. This position offers the flexibility of working from various locations including Chandler, AZ, Dallas, TX, Charlotte, NC, San Francisco, CA, or New York, NY, with a hybrid office model requiring in-office attendance three days a week. We are looking for qualified candidates who can apply their expertise in a dynamic environment and contribute to our mission of providing top-notch security solutions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough penetration testing on various systems and applications.
• Utilize both manual and automated testing techniques to identify vulnerabilities.
• Execute and understand security tools and their applications in penetration testing.
• Collaborate with development and security teams to remediate identified vulnerabilities.
• Stay updated with the latest security trends and OWASP guidelines.
• Document findings and provide detailed reports on security assessments.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in penetration testing, both manual and automated.
• Strong understanding of security tools and their execution.
• Familiarity with OWASP and its guidelines.
• Ethical hacking certification is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment and adapt to various locations.
