About the position

As a penetration tester at AutoRoboto, you will play a crucial role in enhancing cybersecurity by proactively identifying vulnerabilities in digital systems through penetration testing. This position involves using various hacking tools and techniques to simulate attacks, document findings, and report on security weaknesses, ultimately helping to fortify the company's defenses against potential threats.

Responsibilities

• Analyze attacks and perform reverse engineering to define vulnerabilities.
• Plan and execute tests, documenting methodologies and creating detailed reports about findings.
• Create new testing methods to identify vulnerabilities.
• Identify security weaknesses by pinpointing methods and entry points that attackers may exploit.
• Collaborate with team members to creatively solve problems.

Requirements

• Good working knowledge of Linux command line.
• Critical thinker and problem solver.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to document and share findings.
• Strong collaboration skills and experience working cross-functionally.
• Ability to think like the enemy to anticipate hacking techniques.

Nice-to-haves

• 2+ years experience in mobile testing, scientific lab work, or thorough debugging experience.
• 1+ year experience in animation/game development.
• Research or work experience in facial recognition.
• Proficiency with Photoshop.
• Photography advanced knowledge.
• Experience using 3D printers and other maker space tools.
