Responsibilities

  • Keep up to date on the latest vulnerabilities that may affect Rockwell Automation systems
  • Conduct triage of vulnerabilities based on criticality
  • Collaborate on current and emerging security threat trends with the team leader, Senior Penetration testers and the Threat Analysts, use this intelligence in preparation of future test strategies
  • Perform security assessments including application scans (using tools such as Qualys, Rapid 7, Burp Suite, etc)
  • Execute Red Team simulations based on organizationally defined threat scenarios with strict adherence to the agreed-upon rules of engagement
  • Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of relevant experience
  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

Nice-to-haves

  • Typically requires 2+ years of relevant work experience in penetration testing
  • Basic knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle
  • An understanding of Windows and Linux based systems
  • An understanding of common networking protocols, such as HTTP, DNS, TLS
  • An understanding of common exploitation vectors
  • Describe vulnerabilities and technical concepts to all levels
  • Familiar with tools such as Burp Suite Professional
  • Natural knowledge of the strengths and weaknesses of operating systems, network and security appliances, application language and software being used
  • Experience performing penetration testing in cloud-based environments
  • Experience with scripting, either Python, Powershell or another language
