About the position
The Director of Development and Communications at Peninsula School is a leadership role focused on enhancing the school's fundraising and communication strategies. The Director will lead capital campaigns, cultivate major donor relationships, and work collaboratively with the school's leadership team to achieve strategic goals.
Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of the school's capital campaign in conjunction with its centennial celebration.
- Develop and implement fundraising and communication strategies aligned with the school's mission and strategic plan.
- Collaborate with the Head of School, Board Development Committee, and other stakeholders to articulate fundraising goals and opportunities.
- Nurture relationships with the school community and external partners to enhance fundraising efforts.
- Supervise and support three staff members in their roles related to annual giving, communications, and events.
Requirements
- Proven experience in development and fundraising, including annual giving, capital campaigns, and major donor cultivation.
- Strong relational skills and the ability to inspire and engage diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in strategic planning and execution of fundraising initiatives.
