About the position

As a Caregiver at Sevita, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This position focuses on helping participants grow, learn, and live fulfilling lives through meaningful relationships and community involvement. You will assist with personal hygiene and support individuals with behavioral challenges, ensuring they achieve their developmental goals.

Responsibilities

• Help individuals grow, learn, and live well through supportive care.
• Develop meaningful relationships with the individuals served.
• Take initiative to help participants engage in community activities.
• Assist participants with personal hygiene and daily living skills.
• Support individuals in achieving developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to adapt and multi-task effectively.
• Teamwork and time-management skills.
