About the position

The PEO Centric Sales Representative is responsible for selling PEO products and services by developing new clients and expanding the client base to enhance profits within the PEO Sales organization. This role involves engaging with key stakeholders, understanding customer needs, and presenting tailored solutions to drive revenue and market share.

Responsibilities

  • Sell PEO products and services by developing new clients and increasing the client base.
  • Leverage the Go-to-Market Sales Strategy to identify customer needs and present solutions to key stakeholders.
  • Schedule appointments and visit potential and current referral sources, particularly in the broker channel, to secure referrals.
  • Prospect for new clients and referral sources outside of the Paychex base using various marketing strategies.
  • Analyze prospects' needs and interests to determine appropriate products and refer to the correct sales partner.
  • Complete and submit accurate new business paperwork, expense reports, and weekly activity reports by set deadlines.
  • Onboard PEO clients, ensuring a smooth transition onto the PEO service by following policies and procedures.
  • Expedite the resolution of client problems or complaints to facilitate a positive onboarding experience.
  • Project a positive image of the Corporation to clients and the community to create sales opportunities.
  • Attend partner meetings to educate on PEO services and processes.
  • Achieve and continually develop technical, competitive, and sales skills knowledge.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • 2 years of relevant sales or sales management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5 years of relevant sales or sales management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
