About the position

The PEO Client Advocate serves as the primary client service owner, focusing on client retention, satisfaction, and revenue growth. This role involves collaborating with internal partners and leadership to address client concerns and enhance the overall client experience, ensuring that Paychex maintains its reputation as a leading human resource services provider.

Responsibilities

• Perform an in-depth business needs analysis during client interactions and through business assessments and action plans.
• Evaluate a client's suite of products and make recommendations to meet their business needs and promote revenue growth and retention.
• Serve as a liaison between clients and the PEO to resolve concerns, escalate issues, and ensure client requests are addressed.
• Ensure ongoing client satisfaction and high retention by leveraging the PEO value proposition and participating in client satisfaction programs.
• Maintain current knowledge of Paychex products and services, providing client education on the full value of PEO offerings.
• Partner with leadership to research and resolve high-level client concerns.
• Work under strict deadlines and confidentiality requirements to address client concerns promptly.
• Initiate and foster process improvement through partnerships across the organization.
• Act as a lead and participant in team and service initiatives, keeping the team informed of projects and ensuring successful execution.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree - Required
• Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
• 3 years of experience in relationship management or customer service role.
• Strong verbal communication and listening skills.
• Demonstrates time management and priority setting skills.
• Ability to build strong customer relationships.
