About the position

As a Senior Consultant in People Advisory Services at EY, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients with managing HR costs and risks associated with their compensation and rewards programs. This position involves delivering innovative solutions and improving organizational performance in a complex and dynamic environment. You will work collaboratively with a diverse team, gaining valuable experience and exposure to various sectors and geographies.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients in controlling costs and managing risks associated with HR plans, programs, and systems.
  • Measure, control, reduce, and reallocate HR costs.
  • Assess operations to deliver process improvement.
  • Work on multiple reward projects delivering quality design, risk, tax, and accounting technical client services.
  • Provide flexible and innovative compensation reward solutions.
  • Establish relationships with clients and internal teams effectively.
  • Perform IRS and ERISA research for executive compensation and executive benefit issues.
  • Track goals, action items, and budgets using project management tools and methodologies.
  • Implement techniques to improve productivity, increase efficiency, and mitigate risk.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • 2-3+ years of experience in tax and employee benefits law or consulting.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical business acumen.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and adapt to changing requirements.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

Nice-to-haves

  • CPA, JD, or Enrolled Agent credential.
  • Project management experience, planning, budget management, and reporting.
