About the position

Personified is seeking a full-time People and Revenue Operations Director who will play a crucial role in overseeing the full employee lifecycle, including recruiting, hiring, performance management, communication, and career planning. This position is integral to ensuring that the organization maintains an effective, engaged, diverse, equitable, and inclusive workforce. The Director will also be responsible for resource planning and reporting, which includes revenue forecasting, invoicing oversight, and project profitability reporting. This role is pivotal in aligning the people operations with the overall business strategy and ensuring that the organization operates efficiently and effectively. In the realm of People and HR, the Director will oversee the development, implementation, and execution of people programs and initiatives. This includes managing employee lifecycle practices such as onboarding, promotions, and performance reviews, as well as developing communication and change management strategies to support people policies. The Director will also support employee engagement and culture, ensuring that HR administration is handled effectively, including documentation, personnel records, compensation tracking, and benefits management. On the Revenue side, the Director will lead internal processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting and forecasting of organizational revenue and profitability. This includes developing and maintaining a comprehensive resource forecasting and reporting process, regularly reviewing and updating revenue forecast reports, and creating clear communications for leadership regarding revenue forecasts and key financial metrics. Collaboration with finance, sales, and operations teams will be essential to align forecasting and reporting with organizational goals. The Director will also oversee the development and implementation of financial, compliance, legal, and other operational procedures to ensure the organization's ongoing operational health. This includes supporting the leadership team in developing financial policies and processes, ensuring adherence to compliance and legal programs, and procuring the necessary tools and resources for effective organizational functioning. Additionally, the Director will lead the development and implementation of high-impact systems and processes to support organizational success. This includes overseeing employee engagement initiatives, managing cross-functional processes, and ensuring effective internal communication of leadership decisions and priorities. The role will also involve analyzing and implementing organizational strategy, tracking programs and goals across departments, and engaging the leadership team in the strategic planning process.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the development, implementation, and execution of people programs and initiatives to ensure an effective, engaged, diverse, equitable and inclusive workforce.
  • Manage employee lifecycle and employee performance practices and programs (onboarding, promotions, performance reviews, etc.).
  • Develop communication and change management strategies to support people policy.
  • Support employee engagement and culture initiatives.
  • Oversee HR administration (documentation, personnel records, compensation tracking, benefits management, etc.).
  • Lead internal processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting and forecasting of organizational revenue and profitability.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive resource forecasting and reporting process, including creating standardized procedures and best practices.
  • Regularly review and update revenue forecast reports, ensuring accuracy and relevance to current business conditions.
  • Create and deliver clear and concise communications and updates for leadership regarding revenue forecasts and key financial metrics.
  • Work closely with finance, sales, and operations teams to align forecasting and reporting with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Support the leadership team in the development and implementation of financial policies and processes to ensure effective and efficient resource allocation.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of compliance and legal programs and procedures for the organization.
  • Procure, assess, audit, and implement the tools and resources needed to run the organization effectively.
  • Oversee the development and execution of employee engagement initiatives (team building activities, retreats, etc.).
  • Oversee and lead the development and management of high impact initiatives for cross-functional processes and programs.
  • Oversee the development and application of internal communications and alignment processes to ensure effective communication across the organization.
  • Drive the process to engage the leadership team to develop and implement the organization's strategic plan.
  • Develop and maintain systems for developing programs and tracking relevant data to measure and optimize the organization's strategy.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of operations-related experience, particularly in human resources/people operations, finance, and/or technology.
  • Experience managing operations teams or departments for at least 5 years.
  • Experience in a mission-driven setting is preferred.
  • Proven track record as a self-starter who can thrive with minimal supervision and solve problems creatively and independently.
  • Proven ability to identify and solve complex organizational problems with a focus on equity and empathy.
  • Experience with People operations and HR, organizational systems and processes, tools and technology, and other solutions is essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong project management skills, coupled with sharp attention to detail, and a demonstrated ability to effectively manage competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated experience working with leadership and across an organization to develop and hold teams accountable to operational systems and processes.
