About the position

The People Business Partner (Product & Engineering) at Tapcheck Inc. is a senior role responsible for providing strategic HR support and guidance to the Product and Engineering teams. This position acts as a change agent and trusted advisor, focusing on employee relations, performance management, talent management, and compliance. The role requires collaboration with various levels of the organization, from executives to team members, to implement effective HR processes and systems that align with business objectives and Tapcheck's culture.

Responsibilities

• Conduct weekly meetings with respective business leaders.
• Serve as a consultative subject matter expert to establish best practice tools across assigned functions.
• Act as a trusted advisor for employee relations and performance issues.
• Implement and optimize talent solutions and people programs aligned with business needs.
• Coach people leaders to enhance leadership strengths and capabilities.
• Stay informed on changes to People policies or programs and educate employees accordingly.
• Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in HR and employment laws.
• Perform all other duties as assigned or necessary.

Requirements

• 8+ years of working experience in a similar or senior HR role.
• 4 years of experience supporting product and engineering client groups in a start-up environment is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality in all areas of responsibility.
• Initiative and a growth mindset are essential.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Organizational Development, or a combination of education and relevant work experience.
