In this role, you will deliver a comprehensive range of strategic and tactical HR support and programs. This includes educating clients on compensation practices, labor relations, performance management, and career development. You will also advise on various management issues, ensuring that the organization is well-equipped to meet its workforce needs. Your responsibilities will involve understanding the current and future goals of the business, engaging proactively with leaders on workforce planning, organization design, and structure. You will be responsible for designing and delivering talent planning activities that identify leadership development priorities and succession plans. This will involve assessing development needs and promoting a learning environment that supports on-the-job opportunities. Additionally, you will leverage your coaching skills to assist employees and managers with development and performance matters, ensuring that they align with both business and personal goals. Diversity and inclusion are key components of this role. You will partner with various teams to drive diversity initiatives, considering talent movement, recruiting, and representation. You will also collaborate to develop action plans that promote inclusion and diversity within the organization. Furthermore, you will advise on compensation initiatives, interpret internal frameworks, and analyze external market data to identify emerging trends. Your role will also include working on special projects and understanding the training and development needs of the organization. You will act as a liaison with Apple University to deliver or secure appropriate training and will be responsible for authoring and delivering curriculum for site-specific training sessions. Utilizing HR metrics, you will track and report on staffing, retention, and attrition data, recommending programs and enhancements as necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with business leaders to align on the People strategy.
  • Support and work with business teams to understand current and future goals and trends impacting workforce needs.
  • Engage proactively with leaders on people strategy through workforce planning and organization design.
  • Design and deliver talent planning activities to identify leadership development priorities and succession plans.
  • Assess development needs and promote a learning environment that supports on-the-job opportunities.
  • Leverage coaching skills to assist employees and managers with development and performance matters.
  • Drive diversity initiatives and collaborate to develop I&D action plans with cross-functional partners.
  • Advise on local and global compensation initiatives and interpret internal compensation frameworks.
  • Develop and work on special and cross-functional projects as identified.
  • Understand training and development needs and act as a liaison with Apple University to deliver appropriate training.
  • Track and report staffing, retention, and attrition data to line management.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of proven performance as a strategic HR Business Partner.
  • Experience in Organizational Development or Project center of excellence is a plus.
  • Foundational understanding of HR analytics and experience with HR systems & tools.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills.
  • Highly collaborative style and resourceful, self-motivated.
  • Ability to coach, mentor, and advise managers and employees.
  • Impeccable judgment and ability to balance company and employee needs.
  • Strong project management and Excel skills.
