About the position
The Director of Retail Talent Management at Aritzia is responsible for leading the Talent Management Department to drive effective people decisions, cultivate a high-performing environment, and support the growth of employees. This role focuses on executing talent lifecycle programs, supporting talent acquisition, and ensuring the cultural integration of new employees while retaining top talent through strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Execute talent lifecycle programs and engage with employees to support and elevate them.
- Support the design of the right people in the right roles at the right time and in the right quantity.
- Collaborate with partners to support the acquisition of the best talent for today and tomorrow.
- Act as the primary support contact for cultural integration and productivity of new employees.
- Assist business leaders in assessing the performance and potential of employees to inform quality people decisions.
- Support retention of top talent through competitive wages, education, and opportunities.
- Facilitate fair and consistent practices to manage incidents.
Requirements
- Proven skills and experience in people and cultural knowledge.
- Experience leading a team and executing on employee talent lifecycles, specifically in Retail.
