About the position

The Director of Retail Talent Management at Aritzia is responsible for leading the Talent Management Department to enhance employee engagement and performance. This role focuses on executing talent lifecycle programs, supporting talent acquisition, and fostering a productive work environment that aligns with Aritzia's values. The director will play a crucial role in assessing employee performance, supporting retention strategies, and ensuring cultural integration for new hires.

Responsibilities

• Execute talent lifecycle programs and engage with employees to support and elevate them.
• Support the design of the right people in the right roles at the right time and in the right quantity.
• Collaborate with partners to acquire the best talent for current and future needs.
• Act as the primary support contact for cultural integration and productivity of new employees.
• Assist business leaders in assessing employee performance and potential to inform quality people decisions.
• Support retention of top talent through competitive wages, education, and opportunities.
• Facilitate fair and consistent practices to manage incidents.

Requirements

• Proven skills and experience in people and cultural knowledge.
• Experience leading a team and executing employee talent lifecycles, specifically in Retail.
