About the position

The People & Culture Partner at Warner Bros. Discovery plays a crucial role in supporting the Ad Sales division by addressing employee-related matters and fostering a positive workplace culture. This position balances strategic business partnership with employee advocacy, aiming to enhance the company's reputation as an employer of choice. The role involves collaboration with various HR functions and requires a proactive approach to developing initiatives that align with business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the initial point of contact for employee inquiries and correspondence.
  • Implement corporate programs and internal training initiatives in collaboration with the People & Culture team.
  • Act as a culture champion for the Ad Sales LA office, tailoring strategies to meet regional needs.
  • Support the establishment of a new team in Mexico City in partnership with the Director.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to foster an inclusive and respectful work environment.
  • Develop creative solutions to motivate employees and promote internal mobility.
  • Collaborate with Employee Relations and Employment Legal to address people-related issues.
  • Manage confidential and sensitive data effectively.
  • Utilize data analytics to provide recommendations to business leaders.
  • Maintain department trackers for accurate reporting and decision-making.
  • Create monthly and quarterly reports as needed.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and Total Rewards for recruitment efforts.
  • Drive internal training initiatives through the Sales Academy for entry to mid-level staff.
  • Build strong relationships with all People & Culture COE functions for seamless support.
  • Create presentation materials as required.
  • Manage special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources.
  • Strong collaborative working style and ability to work in a global, matrixed structure.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with colleagues and employees.
  • Good judgment in balancing company and employee needs.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Working knowledge of compensation and benefits practices.
  • Experience working with a culturally diverse workforce.
  • Knowledge of Employee and Labor Relations practices, laws, and regulations.
