About the position
The People Intern at LanzaTech will support the HR team in various administrative and recruitment tasks while contributing to employee engagement initiatives. This internship is designed for students pursuing a degree in Human Resources or a related field, providing hands-on experience in HR operations within a diverse and innovative company focused on sustainability and carbon recycling.
Responsibilities
- Maintain employee records in HRIS (Human Resource Information System) and employee files.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR team.
- Work with business leaders to review and update job descriptions.
- Assist in posting job openings on various platforms.
- Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
- Support the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives.
- Gather feedback through surveys and assist in analyzing results.
- Participate in HR-related projects and initiatives as assigned.
Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
