About the position

The People Operations Analyst at Relay Resources is a critical role that supports the organization in compensation analysis and HRIS data management. This position works closely with the CEO and reports to the Director of People Operations, focusing on ensuring fair compensation practices and improving HR processes through data analysis. The role is hybrid, requiring three days a week onsite in Portland, OR, and involves significant collaboration with various business units to enhance HR operations.

Responsibilities

  • Generate regular and ad-hoc reports from the HRIS to provide insights on workforce metrics and HR operations.
  • Create and maintain HR metrics to analyze data and identify trends, providing actionable recommendations to leadership.
  • Conduct audits on HR processes and documents, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations.
  • Partner with HRIS Administrator on business needs for HRIS improvements and support the development of the HR Technology roadmap.
  • Design, configure, test, and implement changes/updates in collaboration with the HRIS Administrator.
  • Perform job evaluations, market pricing, and internal equity analysis for compensation.
  • Conduct compensation analysis market research and modify salary structures as needed.
  • Facilitate the administration of annual compensation program events, including merit adjustments and collective bargaining agreements.
  • Administer People Operations SharePoint, ensuring files are organized and up-to-date, and lead HRIS and Compensation related projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in HRIS administration and compensation analysis and management.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and SharePoint).
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate integrity with sensitive information.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience with UKG Ready is a must.
