About the position

The People Operations Coordinator II at Guardant Health plays a vital role in enhancing the recruiting process by ensuring a positive candidate experience. This position involves executing various operational tasks that support the Talent Acquisition team, including scheduling interviews, managing background checks, and providing logistical support for recruitment initiatives. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is adept at managing multiple projects while maintaining a high level of service for candidates and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the scheduling process to ensure timely interview arrangements.
  • Coordinate and schedule candidate interviews, including phone, in-person, and video formats.
  • Partner with recruiters and TA leaders on processing internal transfers, conversions, and promotions in the ATS and Workday.
  • Manage background checks and support pre-boarding activities for new hires.
  • Enter contingent new hire data into the HRIS system.
  • Support recruiters on job events and marketing campaigns.
  • Deliver reports on recruiting operations to support TA performance.
  • Monitor ERP programs and coordinate monthly payments.
  • Manage TA Ops mailboxes and respond to or delegate inquiries accordingly.
  • Assist with other TA Ops projects or responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Three years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google products, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently on multiple concurrent tasks/projects.
  • Adaptable and flexible with a superior customer service orientation.
  • Maturity and confidentiality required along with good interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), CRM, and HRIS.
  • Familiarity with Workday.
