About the position

The People Operations Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting HR processes that facilitate recruitment, onboarding, development, and retention of a high-performing team in New York City. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and execute various HR processes to support recruitment and talent acquisition.
  • Schedule interviews and maintain job postings while proactively sourcing candidates.
  • Manage the onsite candidate experience and learn effective interviewing techniques.
  • Administer onboarding and offboarding processes accurately, including pre-employment tasks and IT coordination.
  • Research, propose, design, and administer programs related to training, recognition, performance reviews, and team culture initiatives.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of work experience in a recruiting, HR, or people-focused position.
  • Intellectual interest in Human Resources with a desire to become PHR certified within 2 years.
  • Experience in a recruiting function is a plus, with aspirations to develop a true HR generalist skill set.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to perform tasks with high accuracy and efficiency.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to positively represent the company brand.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines consistently.
  • High degree of flexibility in a fast-paced and frequently changing environment.
  • Ability to problem solve and take initiative.
