About the position

Turion Space is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive People Operations Coordinator to support our growing team. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day HR operations and providing an exceptional employee experience throughout the entire employee lifecycle. The People Operations Coordinator will play a crucial role in maintaining an organized and efficient workplace, contributing to the overall employee experience, and supporting various HR initiatives that align with the company's mission and values. Key responsibilities include maintaining an organized filing system, managing office supplies inventory, and ensuring all office equipment is operational. You will greet visitors and business partners, ensuring they feel welcome and addressing any inquiries they may have. Additionally, you will manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing materials, scheduling training sessions, and handling administrative tasks. It is essential to maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and other people-related matters. The role also involves assisting with payroll processing and benefits administration, coordinating and supporting HR initiatives such as performance reviews, engagement surveys, and team-building activities. You will help organize company events and recognition programs to enhance employee engagement and contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures. Gathering and analyzing HR metrics to support data-driven decision-making and assisting with recruitment efforts as needed, including scheduling interviews and maintaining the applicant tracking system, are also part of your responsibilities. Finally, you will provide general administrative assistance to staff, including managing schedules, organizing meetings, and handling correspondence.
