About the position

The People Operations Coordinator is responsible for the effective execution of HR processes and administrative tasks within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple responsibilities while ensuring compliance and supporting employee engagement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with day-to-day HR operations, including maintaining employee records, processing new hires, and managing onboarding/offboarding processes.
  • Provide support in coordinating recruiting efforts, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
  • Manage and track compliance documentation, including certifications, background checks, and training records.
  • Coordinate employee engagement activities and events as directed.
  • Handle HR inquiries and requests from employees and managers promptly and professionally.
  • Prepare reports, maintain HR systems, and ensure data accuracy.
  • Support payroll processing and benefits administration as needed.
  • Partner with the HR Manager and Director on special projects to meet business needs.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Previous experience in HR or related field is required.
  • Degree or certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus but not required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HRIS platforms is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Dependable, proactive, and able to maintain confidentiality.

Nice-to-haves

  • Degree or certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus but not required.
