About the position

The People Operations Lead at MyStudio is a key role responsible for shaping the company's culture and success through effective recruitment, human resources management, and employee development. This position involves overseeing all aspects of talent acquisition, onboarding, HR functions, and fostering a positive work environment, ensuring that the organization attracts, retains, and empowers top talent to drive its mission forward.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top-tier talent.
  • Manage recruitment efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
  • Collaborate with department heads to understand hiring needs and ensure a seamless recruitment experience.
  • Design and execute comprehensive onboarding programs to integrate new hires into the company culture.
  • Facilitate orientation sessions for new employees to understand company values, policies, and expectations.
  • Oversee all HR functions, including employee relations, team coaching, performance management, and policy implementation.
  • Act as a resource for employees, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts to ensure a positive work environment.
  • Design and implement initiatives for ongoing professional development for employees.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive company culture that promotes employee engagement.
  • Utilize HR metrics and analytics to assess the effectiveness of HR programs and inform decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in HR and recruiting, preferably in the tech industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and data management skills.
  • Understanding of laws, regulations, and best practices in people operations.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to work across teams.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree or HR certification is a plus.
  • Experience in a rapidly scaling company.
