About the position

The People Operations Manager - Compensation & HRIS at Nexxen is responsible for overseeing the organization's HRIS applications and modules, ensuring effective management of compensation programs, annual performance reviews, benefits administration, payroll, and reporting efforts. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance HR processes and ensure compliance with internal policies and government regulations, while also providing technical support and guidance to HR system users.

Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain the organization's HRIS applications and modules.
  • Manage the compensation function, including planning and implementing global compensation programs.
  • Ensure compliance of company compensation programs with internal policies and government regulations.
  • Partner with management to develop and administer compensation programs.
  • Monitor existing compensation practices and recommend cost-effective changes.
  • Provide advice on pay decisions, policy interpretations, and job evaluations.
  • Develop creative solutions for compensation-related programs and incentive plans.
  • Oversee participation in salary surveys and monitor salary survey data.
  • Maintain optimal function of the HRIS, including installation and upgrades.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for HR system users.
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify system improvements and enhancements.
  • Manage permissions and access for HR systems users.
  • Program custom functions and documentation for HR systems.
  • Compile complex data reports for senior executives and HR staff.
  • Audit HRIS for data integrity and compliance with data security requirements.
  • Create and document standard operating procedures for HR processes.
  • Develop and implement new integrations and upgrades of HR systems.
  • Conduct system and user audits and upgrades regularly.
  • Communicate with various departments to review data sharing impacts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • Minimum of five years of related experience, with some payroll experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with AON Radford and CompXL preferred.
  • Thorough understanding of information systems, particularly ADP Workforce Now.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Interpersonal and technical support skills.
  • Excellent prioritization and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with HR policies and procedures to meet organizational needs.
  • Ability to work independently and manage confidential information.
  • Knowledge of state and federal laws related to compensation.
