About the position

In this position, you'll play a critical part in advancing Carbyne's mission! We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented People Operations Manager to join our dynamic team in New York City. This role will be pivotal in managing all HR data, systems, reporting, and analysis. The successful candidate will work closely with the Chief People Officer, finance and legal departments to ensure seamless operations and compliance. A strong proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, as well as solid project management skills, are essential for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and maintain accurate HR data within HRIS and other HR systems, ensuring data integrity and security across all HR platforms.
  • Conduct regular audits and updates to maintain data accuracy.
  • Manage HR information systems to optimize efficiency, implementing system upgrades and enhancements in collaboration with IT.
  • Provide user training and support for HR systems, ensuring all users are proficient and the systems are utilized effectively.
  • Develop and generate comprehensive HR reports and dashboards.
  • Perform data analysis to identify trends and insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Present findings to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the finance team to align HR data with financial data for budgeting and forecasting.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements in all HR processes and documentation.
  • Collaborate with the legal team on matters related to employment law and company policies.
  • Lead and manage HR projects from inception to completion.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Utilize advanced Excel and Google Sheets functions to manage and analyze data.
  • Create complex formulas, pivot tables, and macros to streamline data processes.
  • Develop and maintain spreadsheets for tracking HR metrics and KPIs.
