About the position

The People Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing payroll management, timesheet processing, and onboarding while leading a small team of administrators and coordinators. This role combines leadership with hands-on responsibilities to ensure efficient HR operations and exceptional service delivery, acting as a liaison between employees, associates, and management to address HR matters and compliance issues.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage payroll processes, ensuring accurate and timely compensation for all associates.
  • Supervise the collection and processing of timesheets, maintaining data accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Handle employment-related legal matters, ensuring compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
  • Lead and support the Care Team to provide exceptional service to employees and associates.
  • Prepare, review, and publish a suite of professional reports in a timely manner.
  • Serve as a liaison between employees, management, and associates to promote open communication and resolve concerns.
  • Assist with key HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Oversee and direct various Marketing initiatives.
  • Lead and manage a range of administrative tasks.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of policies and procedures aimed at enhancing efficiency, productivity, and compliance.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and productive work environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in new hire onboarding processes.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience with timesheet management and payroll operations.
  • Strong desire and ability to learn and adapt to new areas and responsibilities.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Bullhorn (Applicant Tracking System).
  • Previous experience working in the staffing industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and leading teams.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
