About the position

The People Operations Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the Global Directors for People Operations and the Director of Employee Relations by driving the strategic direction and operational delivery of HR policies and procedures. This position involves managing a team, overseeing HR projects, ensuring compliance with regulations, and fostering effective communication across the People team and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of two, driving excellence in HR policies and operational processes.
  • Oversee the delivery of key HR projects and manage audit and compliance tasks.
  • Develop and deliver training to key stakeholders as necessary.
  • Educate and advise managers and senior leaders on HR-related legal and regulatory matters.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of employee relations and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Manage pre-employment checklists and the onboarding process, including I-9 Administration.
  • Analyze the commercial impact of HR policies and processes and adapt as necessary.
  • Ensure the upkeep and implementation of the HR Business Continuity Plan.
  • Responsible for Data Privacy within HR.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business Administration or related field.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR policies and procedures and employment law.
  • Proficiency in HR Management Systems and MS Office applications (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Strong organizational and advisory skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to summarize complex issues.

Nice-to-haves

  • SHRM-CP or PHR Certification is preferred.
