About the position

The People Operations Manager will oversee the daily operations of a healthcare-focused technology services company, focusing on human resources, contract management, and office operations. This role requires a proactive individual with strong organizational and communication skills to manage and improve operational processes effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Handle employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, grievances, disciplinary actions, and performance management.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Develop and implement effective training and development programs for employees.
  • Oversee daily office operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Coordinate with IT and other departments to ensure smooth operation of office technology and systems.
  • Implement and maintain office policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with various departments to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Monitor and manage budgets for office supplies, facilities, and other operational expenses.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate and manage vendor relationships and service agreements.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage and oversee contract management functions to ensure compliance and alignment with company objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a People Operations Manager, HR Manager, Office Manager, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and HR software.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve operational processes and increase efficiency.
