About the position

The People Operations Manager will oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the HR function across the entire employee lifecycle within a small software development company. This role involves managing recruitment processes, designing and implementing HR policies, and driving equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives. The position is hybrid, based in London, and requires a creative and intuitive individual to support the wider business with various HR-related tasks and projects.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage day to day People operations across the entire employee lifecycle
  • Manage end to end recruitment processes
  • Design and implement HR policies and frameworks including performance management, absence management and KPIs
  • Drive EDI and cultural initiatives across the organisation
  • Support the wider business with ad hoc tasks and projects

Requirements

  • Experience working in a small-midsized organisation
  • Experience in a standalone HR or lean team overseeing day to day HR processes and policies
  • Knowledge of HR systems an advantage
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Creative and intuitive individual
