About the position

Tesla is seeking a highly motivated Manager, People Operations to join our People Operations team onsite in Fremont, California. The Manager will oversee HR shared services and onboarding functions, ensuring a positive employee experience through effective leadership and management of people operations associates. This role is crucial for enabling optimal delivery of HR processes across North America and building strong cross-functional relationships within the business.

Responsibilities

• Drive the People Operations team to achieve departmental targets and support internal customers with urgency and care
• Interpret and apply HR compliance policies including AAP, OFCCP and EEOC
• Ensure the improvement and optimization of administrative processes, including compliance audits, systems and tooling
• Develop team members through individual coaching and performance management
• Collaborate with North America HR leads to align HR processes and proactively share knowledge and best practices
• Serve as the subject matter expert for end-to-end HR processes and HR compliance
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and the broader HR team

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred
• 3+ years of experience in managing People Operations/HR shared services in a fast-paced/startup environment
• 2+ years of direct people management experience
• HR compliance knowledge and expertise in EEO/AA
• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship building skills
