About the position

The People Operations Manager at Ascend Technologies Group, LLC is responsible for overseeing the entire employee lifecycle, from recruitment to offboarding. This role focuses on ensuring compliance with training and onboarding processes, managing payroll and benefits relationships, and fostering a culture of accountability and professional growth within the organization. Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including hiring, onboarding, and offboarding.
  • Ensure 100% onboarding of new hires within 30 days, maintaining a time-to-fill metric of less than 30 days.
  • Achieve 100% completion of quarterly training sessions for all employees and develop a tracking system for compliance.
  • Implement bi-annual employee surveys to assess engagement levels and improve satisfaction scores by 15% within the first year.
  • Maintain accuracy in payroll processing and ensure timely benefits enrollment with high employee satisfaction rates.
  • Achieve a retention rate of 85% or higher for new hires in their first year and create individual development plans for 75% of employees.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in human resources or people management, focusing on recruitment and employee engagement.
  • Proven experience in managing compliance and training initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of benefits administration and FMLA regulations.
  • Excellent strategic planning capabilities with a focus on data collection.
  • Proven conflict management skills to resolve workplace disputes effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Exceptional leadership abilities with a focus on team development.
