About the position

The People Operations Manager at Aduro Advisors is responsible for overseeing employer compliance and benefit offerings while enhancing the employee experience within a fast-growing organization. This role focuses on operational excellence and scalability, ensuring that the company meets all legal requirements and maintains a positive workplace culture. The manager will play a key role in facilitating performance reviews, managing compensation data, and supporting employee relations.

Responsibilities

  • Stay current on the company's organization structure, personnel policy, and federal and state laws regarding employment practices.
  • Facilitate ongoing compliance audits on recurring schedules to ensure compliance requirements are met on the federal, state, and local level.
  • Manage company-wide compensation data and tracking tools to maintain fair and equitable pay strategies across all roles.
  • Support semi-annual compensation and promotion review cycles in collaboration with internal stakeholders and team leaders.
  • Facilitate semi-annual performance review process for a rapidly growing team of 300+ employees.
  • Manage external broker relationship for all employee benefits and educate employees on programs.
  • Oversee full-cycle health benefit open enrollment process; starting with system preparation through completion of company-wide enrollments.
  • Serve as the secondary point person for the team on day-to-day employee questions related to company policies, procedures, and benefits in collaboration with the People Operations Associate.
  • Support our internal people managers with performance management through coaching and managing adherence to our formal process.
  • Collaborate with the payroll team by reviewing and supplying updated payroll information in a timely manner.
  • Own company-wide Leave of Absence offering from managing the employee experience ranging from employee education, leave planning, and communication throughout the process.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a compliance-focused role.
  • Experience working as a multi-state employer is a plus.
  • Experience working as the first point of contact for employee relations.
  • Strong organizational skills with strong attention to detail and a knack for follow through.
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects or initiatives.
  • Familiarity with multi-state employment laws.
  • Strong project management and collaboration skills.
  • Clear, concise, and organized in written and verbal communication.
  • Desire to grow along with the team.
