About the position

The People Operations Manager at Cognira will play a crucial role in aligning HR initiatives with business goals, overseeing the full employee lifecycle, and enhancing the overall employee experience. This hands-on position requires collaboration with leadership to drive engagement, optimize HR processes, and ensure compliance with labor laws across multiple regions. The role also involves mentoring the HR team and leading various people operations programs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead existing HR projects and future initiatives alongside the leadership team and People Operations team, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, career development, and offboarding.
  • Serve as an advisor to people managers on talent management and development programs, including leadership development, coaching, mentoring, and succession planning.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to foster a positive organizational culture, driving engagement, recognition, and team-building initiatives.
  • Organize team-building activities and participate in the social committee.
  • Lead process improvements to optimize and automate People Operations, including managing and updating the HRIS database.
  • Oversee Talent Acquisition and Employer Branding initiatives to attract and retain top talent.
  • Manage People Operations programs such as performance reviews, employee feedback surveys, coaching, and exit interviews, turning data into actionable plans.
  • Ensure compliance with global and local labor laws, immigration, and employee classification regulations across multiple regions.
  • Support and mentor the HR team, equipping them with best practices and knowledge to lead their projects effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5 years of HR experience with at least 1 year in a SaaS fast-paced organization.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple HR projects simultaneously.
  • Eager to mentor and lead a team while driving people operations initiatives.
