About the position

The People Operations & Recruitment Manager at Moove will play a crucial role in supporting the recruitment, onboarding, talent management, and performance management of the team. This position involves collaborating with leadership to foster a high-performance culture and ensuring compliance with safety and procedural standards. The manager will also be responsible for designing HR policies, managing payroll, and enhancing employee engagement within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Design and lead the recruitment process for all roles within the Ride Hailing organization and central team.
  • Develop and implement strategies to attract, hire, and retain exceptional talent.
  • Oversee the onboarding process, focusing on partner mandated standards and maintaining a great candidate experience.
  • Support the identification and development of tools and systems for timely data capture and a frictionless recruitment process.
  • Design and implement HR policies and procedures tailored to operational needs and strategic partner requirements.
  • Lead the setup and management of payroll and people data processing, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
  • Handle employee relations, performance management, and other People-related tasks to enhance engagement and experience.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws in all recruitment and people operations activities.
  • Maintain accurate records and generate reports on core people data to develop a dynamic dashboard.
  • Work with leadership to define and instill company culture, focusing on safety, excellence, and innovation.
  • Act as custodian of engagement, ensuring teams receive appropriate feedback, training, and development opportunities.
  • Develop and continuously improve the Employee Value Proposition to enhance talent attraction and retention.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in recruitment and HR management, preferably in transportation, logistics, or tech sectors.
  • Experience in Fleet/Mobility/Logistics/Engineering/Operations Management is preferred.
  • Strong preference for experience with Kaizen framework and processes.
  • Familiarity with AI tools for operations and problem-solving.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective teamwork.
  • Ability to break down complex problems into manageable segments and define creative solutions.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on collaboration and teamwork.
  • High ethical standards and commitment to confidentiality.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. labor laws and regulations.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and payroll processing.
