About the position

The People Operations Specialist role at X is focused on providing transactional support to employees and internal stakeholders globally. This position emphasizes confidentiality, data integrity, and enhancing the employee experience while managing various HR processes. The specialist will work closely with teams across EMEA, APAC, and the Americas to ensure seamless HR operations.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to first level questions from employees on all HR topics
  • Generate offer letters and other HR documentation
  • Responsible for new hire onboarding including Workday audits, managing background checks, and coordinating with IT on laptop delivery
  • Support with job changes, including promotions, salary changes, and international transfers
  • Manage the off-boarding process
  • Create, maintain, and audit employee files ensuring data integrity
  • Support with leave administration
  • Leverage technology for HR process efficiencies where possible

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 1+ years experience in an HR administration, operations, administration, or generalist role, preferably in the technology industry
  • Experience with Workday HR information system and JIRA desirable
  • Strong Excel skills are a plus
