The People Operations Specialist is the first point of contact for Gen4 team members, answering questions and triaging communication to the appropriate key stakeholders. Onboarding & Engagement are key focus areas for this role. The responsibilities include managing onboarding and offboarding administration, administering new hire communication, and facilitating the new hire experience for all direct-hire individual contributors. Additionally, the role involves providing sourcing support to Talent Acquisition as bandwidth permits. In terms of performance and development, the People Operations Specialist will manage the distribution and return of all performance-related paperwork, support People Operations efforts by collecting and preparing performance-related reporting/data, and provide coordination efforts during formal review periods. The role also includes administering rewards and recognition support where needed. Engagement and communication are also critical components of this position. The specialist will prepare reporting as needed and partner with leaders to provide resources and opportunities for teams to participate in engagement activities both virtually and on location. They will facilitate engagement activities for key groups and partner with key stakeholders in the coordination of events/activities that take place at the office level. Finally, in the area of compensation and benefits, the specialist will administer documentation, filing, and reporting related to compensation for signature and manage all incoming requests for verification of employment and unemployment claims.

Responsibilities

  • Manage onboarding & offboarding administration
  • Administer New Hire communication & triage
  • Facilitate the New Hire Experience to all direct-hire individual contributors
  • Provide sourcing support to Talent Acquisition (bandwidth permitting)
  • Manage distribution and return of all performance related paperwork (Performance Accountability Plans, Growth Plans, etc.) for all individual contributors
  • Support People Operations efforts by collecting and preparing performance related reporting/data
  • Provide coordination efforts and support during formal review periods
  • Administer Rewards & Recognition administration support where needed
  • Prepare reporting as needed
  • Partner with Leaders to provide resources and opportunities for teams to participate in engagement activities both virtually and on location
  • Facilitate Engagement Activities for key groups; partner with key stakeholders in the coordination of events/activities that take place at the office level
  • Administer documentation, filing and reporting related to compensation (rate increases, spot bonuses, etc.) for signature
  • Manage all incoming requests for VOE's and unemployment claims

Requirements

  • Previous experience in Human Resources administration or generalist role
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills - written and oral
  • Critical Thinking and Problem Solving skills
  • People Management Skills - ability to influence & de-escalation skills
  • Service-orientation / customer success mentality and approach
