The People Operations - Team Lead role is a pivotal position within CBRE's Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) segment, focusing on the strategic management of the people operations team and resources. The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities, thriving in a fast-paced environment where they can manage multiple projects and collaborate with various stakeholders. This role requires a proactive approach, as the individual will be expected to demonstrate ownership, good judgment, and follow-through in all tasks. The successful candidate will be responsible for streamlining and optimizing operations, particularly in repetitive administrative processes handled by the team, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all operations. In this role, the Team Lead will provide formal supervision to employees, overseeing their training and development, conducting performance evaluations, and coaching staff. They will also be responsible for the recruiting and hiring of new employees, ensuring that the team is well-equipped to meet the demands of the organization. The Team Lead will enhance and develop methods to measure team success and effectiveness through data and key performance indicators (KPIs), coordinating and managing the team's daily activities, establishing work schedules, assigning tasks, and cross-training staff as necessary. The Team Lead will troubleshoot and resolve complex inquiries and requests from internal partners, developing project plans to achieve defined objectives and providing regular updates on project resources and milestones. They will partner with the communications team to facilitate the dissemination of People Operations best practices, policies, procedures, and initiatives, ensuring effective knowledge sharing to implement process improvements. Additionally, the Team Lead may act as a system administrator for specialized software utilized by the business group, maintaining system integrity and security while preparing training and reference materials for users. Leading by example, the Team Lead will model behaviors consistent with CBRE's RISE values, influencing parties of shared interests to reach agreements. They will apply their knowledge of their discipline and how it integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives, identifying and resolving day-to-day and moderately complex issues that may arise in existing systems and processes.
