About the position

The Operations Co-op role in the People & Organization practice at BCG focuses on supporting various operational and financial activities within the practice. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in consulting, collaborating with global teams, and understanding the core business functions of BCG. The co-op will work under the guidance of the Global Director and will be involved in financial reporting, marketing, communications, and knowledge support, contributing to the practice's strategic planning and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Support the POP knowledge and management teams across a broad range of activities including financial reporting, internal and external marketing, and communications.
  • Drive the POP operations and financial activities to understand the practice's performance and guide priorities and initiatives.
  • Create and interpret monthly management presentations.
  • Provide support for ad hoc topic and region performance data.
  • Contribute to global Topic, HR, marketing, and affiliation activities.
  • Partner with global topic teams to execute special projects and contribute to the execution of practice area priorities.
  • Oversee global affiliation, talent, and expertise database.
  • Support automation of tasks and identify effective new practices to drive efficiency in the business.
  • Support the POP knowledge team on ad hoc client project work.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university degree program.
  • Strong academic performance and prior work/co-op experience preferred.
  • Experience and/or interest in Human Resources/Organizational topics such as Organizational Structure, Change Management, and Learning & Development.
  • Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and analytical with good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High level of initiative and resourcefulness.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and physically located in the U.S. during the co-op.
