About the position

Metric5 is seeking an experienced Oracle PeopleSoft Administrator to support and maintain the PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 application. The role involves troubleshooting, upgrading PeopleTools, and providing database support in a Linux environment. The ideal candidate will work closely with developers and provide Tier 3 production support while ensuring the stability and performance of the PeopleSoft systems.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and support PeopleSoft Development and Test environments (application servers, web servers, middleware)
  • Installation and configuration of new PeopleTools releases (DPK) including working with developers on custom reapplies, detailed installation instructions, deployment and contingency planning
  • Plan PUM maintenance including PUM installation, create and apply packages, and use Oracle Support to find and apply PRPs
  • Help developers troubleshoot errors using SQL and PeopleCode trace logs
  • Provide Tier 3 Production support
  • Provide guidance on PeopleSoft MFA
  • Support ISSO during annual ATO process
  • Perform workstation application installations (PeopleTools, SQL, etc)
  • Update/Create Linux scripts
  • Middleware patching
  • Researching PeopleSoft issues/logging SRs in Oracle support
  • Provide Oracle database recommendations and support along with SQL performance troubleshooting

Requirements

  • 7+ years of PeopleSoft Administration experience
  • Deep understanding of Oracle PeopleSoft architecture
  • OCI (DBaaS, Compute, Storage, VCN, etc) and PeopleSoft Cloud Manager
  • Linux command line, bash scripting
  • WebLogic administration and configuration
  • Experience with DPK installations using YAML configuration files
  • Experience with PUM installation, configuration along with applying PRPs
  • Change Assistant, Application Designer, Data Mover, PTF
  • Knowledge of underlying PeopleSoft tables
  • Ability to write Oracle SQL queries
  • Remediation of vulnerabilities from security scans through patching
  • Experience implementing MFA with PeopleSoft
  • Expertise in COOP and disaster recovery

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience administering PeopleSoft in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
  • Experience with NIST, FedRAMP, FISMA policies
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript
