About the position

The PeopleSoft Functional Expert SME position is focused on enhancing the applicant and HR staff user experience within the PeopleSoft eRecruit system. The role involves working closely with District Agencies to meet their recruitment needs, performing fit-gap analyses, and ensuring the effective implementation of PeopleSoft Talent Acquisition Manager and Candidate Gateway modules. The position requires a deep understanding of PeopleSoft functionalities and best practices to optimize recruitment workflows and improve overall HR efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with District Agencies to meet screening process requirements for applicants.
  • Perform detailed fit-gap analysis between current PeopleSoft implementation and desired features.
  • Gather, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements based on stakeholder needs.
  • Act as the primary liaison between technical teams to ensure understanding of requirements and priorities.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on PeopleSoft Talent Acquisition Manager and Candidate Gateway best practices.
  • Configure and customize TAM and Candidate Gateway modules based on fit-gap analysis.
  • Design and execute unit, system, and user acceptance testing plans.
  • Conduct training sessions and provide documentation to users and stakeholders.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues within PeopleSoft TAM and Candidate Gateway modules.
  • Analyze new features released in PeopleSoft Update Manager and advise on their applicability.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for customizations and configurations.

Requirements

  • 16 years of professional work experience
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience
  • Experience with PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 Talent Acquisition Manager/Candidate Gateway (2 years)
  • 6 years of Software Development Lifecycle experience
  • Requirements analysis and generation of detailed design specifications (6 years)
  • Two or more implementations of at least 2: Performance Management, Recruitment or ELM (4 years)
  • Oracle SQL experience (5 years)
  • Ability to read and interpret Peoplecode (5 years)
  • PeopleSoft query development (5 years)
