About the position

The PeopleSoft HCM Developer position at MSys Inc. involves working onsite in Washington, DC, focusing on supporting the District's PeopleSoft eRecruit operation. The role requires collaboration with HR subject matter experts and technical developers, ensuring compliance with project life cycle standards, and providing guidance on PeopleSoft development and upgrade projects. This long-term position is expected to last multiple years and requires a strong background in PeopleSoft HCM and related technologies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates IT project management, engineering, maintenance, QA, and risk management.
• Plans, coordinates, and monitors project activities.
• Develops technical applications to support users.
• Develops, implements, maintains and enforces documented standards and procedures for the design, development, installation, modification, and documentation of assigned systems.
• Provides training for system products and procedures.
• Performs monitoring, maintenance, or reporting on real-time databases, real-time network and serial data communications, and real-time graphics and logic applications.
• Troubleshoots problems.
• Ensures project life cycle in compliance with District standards and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent experience.
• PeopleSoft HCM 9.0 or higher WorkForce Administration for Public Sector - 10 Years
• PeopleSoft HCM 9.0 or higher Base Benefits / Benefits Administration - 10 Years
• PeopleSoft HCM 9.0 or higher Time and Labor - 5 Years
• Oracle 11g RDBMS or higher - 10 Years
• SQL, PL/SQL - 10 Years
• Experience with Peoplecode - 10 Years
• Experience with Application Engine - 10 Years
• Experience with Integration Broker - 10 Years
• Experience working with Bl Publisher - 10 Years
• Development of custom pages, components, app engines, SQRs, HTML, XML, SOA/WS - 10 Years
• PeopleTools version 8.58 and higher - 5 Years
• 10+ years planning, coordinating, and monitoring project activities.
