About the position
The PeopleSoft HCM Technical Consultant will work on a hybrid contract basis, focusing on implementing PeopleSoft Time and Labor and Absence Management systems for a government client. This role requires extensive knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM functionalities, particularly in Payroll, Time & Labor, and Absence Management, to align agency business requirements with technical capabilities. The consultant will also be responsible for testing and integration with existing payroll systems, ensuring a smooth transition and ongoing support post-implementation.
Responsibilities
- Implement PeopleSoft Time and Labor & Absence Management in conjunction with agency business processes, policies, and rules.
- Configure timekeeping for groups of employees using timestamp and elapsed time methods.
- Conduct full end to end testing process using Time and Labor and Absence Management.
- Work with QA team to create test scripts using the PeopleSoft Test Framework.
- Fully integrate timekeeping and absence management into the existing payroll system and business processes.
