About the position

We are seeking a highly skilled PeopleSoft Technical Team Lead with extensive experience in PeopleSoft HCM 9.2. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, a deep understanding of PeopleSoft architecture, and the ability to lead technical teams in designing, developing, and supporting complex PeopleSoft solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Perform analysis, design, coding, and testing for the PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 system.
  • Design technical solutions that align with business requirements and adhere to application architecture standards.
  • Develop technical solutions using PeopleTools Application Designer, Application Engine, PeopleCode, Page and Field Configurator.
  • Provide production support, including troubleshooting, fixing, and performing maintenance activities.
  • Create detailed technical design specifications and other necessary project documentation.
  • Develop reports and queries using SQL, PeopleSoft Query, XML Publisher, and SQR.
  • Engage with users and subject matter experts to gather requirements, participate in design discussions, and support user testing.
  • Collaborate with analysts and other developers to resolve complex defects and issues.
  • Work closely with the development team to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products on-time.
  • Lead 20+ developers for complex project delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of development experience with PeopleSoft systems.
  • 5+ years of experience working with PeopleSoft HCM modules.
  • 2+ years experience with Agile software delivery methodologies and Jira software.
  • Strong programming skills and a good understanding of relational databases.
  • Experience developing on an Oracle Database platform is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with PUM and managing multiple codelines.
  • Experience with configuration management processes.
  • Experience documenting defect information, including analysis, steps to reproduce, and technical fixes.
  • Agile, PeopleSoft or Oracle certificate is strongly preferred.
  • Federal project experience is strongly preferred.
