About the position

The PeopleSoft Technical Support Engineer will leverage their expertise in PeopleSoft HCM, specifically in Payroll, Time & Labor, Absence Management, and Core HR, to implement and configure PeopleSoft Time and Labor & Absence Management systems in alignment with Clemson University's business processes. This role requires a deep understanding of technical functionalities and the ability to integrate these systems effectively into existing payroll processes.

Responsibilities

  • Implement PeopleSoft Time and Labor & Absence Management in conjunction with Clemson University business processes, policies, and rules.
  • Configure timekeeping for groups of employees using timestamp and elapsed time methods.
  • Conduct full end to end testing process using Time and Labor and Absence Management.
  • Work with QA team to create test scripts using the PeopleSoft Test Framework.
  • Fully integrate timekeeping and absence management into the existing payroll system and business processes.

Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge and applied application of delivered HCM 9.2 Time & Labor and Absence Management functionality.
  • Strong technical understanding of Time Reporting Codes, Workgroups, Schedules, Task Groups, Rules, Reported Time, Payable Time, Scheduled Time, and Exceptions.
  • Advanced level work experience in Time & Labor Approval Framework Setup and Process Flow for Reported Time and Payable Time.
  • Expertise in developing Test Plan, Test Cases, Test Scripts and conducting full end to end testing process using Time and Labor and Absence Management.
  • Strong background in integration of Time & Labor with PeopleSoft Payroll.
