About the position

The PeopleSoft Functional Expert SME role is focused on enhancing the District's PeopleSoft implementation, specifically in the areas of Talent Acquisition Manager and Candidate Gateway. The expert will conduct fit-gap analyses, gather requirements, provide best practices, and ensure system efficiency while aligning with District policies. This position requires a strong understanding of PeopleSoft functionalities and the ability to customize and optimize recruitment workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a detailed fit-gap analysis to identify discrepancies between the District's current PeopleSoft 9.2 configuration and desired features.
  • Gather, analyze, and document both functional and technical requirements based on stakeholder needs.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on PeopleSoft Talent Acquisition Manager (TAM) and Candidate Gateway (CG) best practices.
  • Configure and customize TAM and Candidate Gateway modules to meet specific needs identified in the fit-gap analysis.
  • Design and execute unit, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT) and independent Software Quality Assurance testing (SQA) plans.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues within the PeopleSoft TAM and Candidate Gateway modules.
  • Analyze new features released in PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM) updates and advise on their applicability.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation for any customizations, configurations, or changes made.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years of experience with PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 Talent Acquisition Manager/Candidate Gateway.
  • 6 years of Software Development Lifecycle experience.
  • 6 years of experience in requirements analysis and generation of detailed design specifications.
  • 4 years of experience with two or more implementations of Performance Management, Recruitment, or ELM.
  • 5 years of experience with Oracle SQL.
  • 5 years of ability to read and interpret Peoplecode.
  • 5 years of experience in PeopleSoft query development.
  • 16 years of professional work experience.
