About the position

The CFO Services Manager at A&M is responsible for working with private equity portfolio companies to enhance business value through financial oversight and strategic planning. This role focuses on improving transparency in business performance, optimizing liquidity and working capital, and ensuring effective execution of financial strategies. The manager will lead teams in data analysis, project management, and client engagement to deliver actionable insights and improvements.

Responsibilities

• Guide team members in data collection, validation, and analysis.
• Lead client interviews to gather insights and understand stakeholder perspectives.
• Identify knowledge gaps and challenge existing assumptions to improve financial processes.
• Forecast liquidity needs and assess financial/accounting process inefficiencies.
• Present issues and opportunities clearly to clients.
• Own and complete workstreams based on CFO Services pillars.
• Set and communicate client expectations consistently throughout projects.
• Develop actionable plans to optimize working capital and improve process transparency.
• Identify risks and create contingency plans for project execution.
• Leverage experience to guide and promote innovative thinking within the team.
• Coach team members to maximize their contributions and skill sets.
• Build and review financial models and provide valuable financial analysis.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited 4-year college/university with a concentration in accounting, finance, or economics (preferred but not required).
• 7-10 years of experience in Accounting/Finance, Financial Due Diligence, Restructuring, Investment Banking, or Private Equity.
• Proficient in financial modeling, data analytics programs, and presentation skills.
• CPA, CFA, or Master's Degree (preferred but not required).
