The Manager of CFO Services at A&M plays a pivotal role in working with private equity-held portfolio companies to deliver solutions that enhance value preservation and generation. This position involves hands-on engagement with clients to ensure that private equity firms have credible plans and the capability to execute and achieve desired financial outcomes. CFO Services encompasses several key areas, including Liquidity & Working Capital Optimization, Strategic Analytics & Planning, Performance Measurement & Management, Business Transformation, and Auxiliary Services such as Accounting Remediation. The Manager will be responsible for data collection, validation, and analysis, guiding team members in the information-gathering process, and ensuring that all relevant sources of information are explored. This role requires leading client interviews, asking insightful questions, and understanding the perspectives of various stakeholders. In addition to analytical skills, the Manager must identify knowledge gaps, challenge the status quo, and develop better assumptions. The role involves recognizing key business challenges, accurately forecasting liquidity needs, and assessing financial and accounting process inefficiencies. The Manager will also be responsible for project management and implementation, ensuring that project approaches, timelines, and deliverables are logical and accurate. This includes setting and communicating client expectations consistently and employing actionable plans to optimize working capital and improve transparency in processes. Leadership is a critical component of this role, as the Manager will leverage their experience to guide and promote innovative thinking within the team.
