The Manager of CFO Services at PEPI will play a pivotal role in working with private equity-held portfolio companies to deliver solutions that enhance value preservation and generation. The primary objective is to improve transparency regarding key business drivers and performance metrics, thereby supporting the increase of cash flow and EBITDA. This position involves hands-on engagement with clients to ensure that private equity firms have credible plans and the capability to execute and achieve desired financial outcomes. CFO Services encompasses several key areas, including Liquidity & Working Capital Optimization, Strategic Analytics & Planning, Performance Measurement & Management, Business Transformation, and Auxiliary Services such as Accounting Remediation. The Manager will be responsible for data collection, validation, and analysis, guiding team members in the information-gathering process, and ensuring that all relevant sources of information are pursued. This includes leading client interviews, asking probing questions, and understanding the perspectives of various stakeholders. The role requires identifying knowledge gaps, challenging the status quo, and developing better assumptions. The Manager will pinpoint key business challenges, forecast liquidity needs, and assess financial and accounting process inefficiencies. Clear and concise presentation of issues and opportunities is essential. Additionally, the Manager will oversee project management and implementation, ensuring that project approaches, timelines, and deliverables are logical and accurate. Leadership is a critical component of this role, as the Manager will leverage their experience to guide and promote innovative thinking within the team. Recognizing the current skill sets of team members and maximizing their contributions is vital. The Manager will also share knowledge, provide coaching, and build and review financial models, offering valuable insights to senior management and board members. Candidates should possess a graduate degree from an accredited institution in relevant fields such as accounting, finance, or economics, along with 7-10 years of experience in accounting, finance, financial due diligence, restructuring, investment banking, or private equity. Proficiency in financial modeling, data analytics, and presentation skills is required, with CPA, CFA, or a Master's degree preferred but not mandatory.
